SHARE: Group Activities
At Mountain Meadows we enjoy planning activities and events together. Our Community boasts dozens of Interest Groups that have been started by residents themselves to share a passion or an interest with like-minded friends.
Current Interest Groups
From the Meadowlarks Chorus to woodworking and hiking to bocce and mahjong to book discussion and social issues groups, the weeks are filled with opportunities to have fun and connect. And residents who don’t find an interest group they fancy can create one!
Kitchen Creek Community Garden
A long-standing group with a wide appeal within Mountain Meadows has created the Community Garden which features raised beds and central drip irrigation. In addition to gardening in their own plots, the members of the group maintain the pathways, keep down the weeds, and generally keep the garden looking inviting and attractive.
Meadowlarks Choral Group
The Meadowlarks, our popular choral group, is comprised of residents who have vocal experience or a desire to express their vocal talents. Weekly practices are a satisfying activity in their own right, and the basis for two performances for the Mountain Meadows community each year.
Trips and Travel
The Trips and Travel Interest Group creates travel opportunities for residents with a focus on overnight theater excursions. Other trips have explored Crater Lake, the Oregon Coast and even the solar eclipse. Travelers are encouraged to share their experiences and ideas for new trips are welcomed.
