OWN: Campus
Our attractive 27-acre professionally maintained campus consists of several neighborhoods of single-family homes and condominiums. The campus includes a four-acre park with a pond, walking paths, game courts and the Community Garden for residents with green thumbs.
A community of neighborhoods
Our campus consists of a group of attractive neighborhoods, each with its own distinctive appearance sharing a consistent Craftsman-style architecture. We are only 1.5 miles from downtown Ashland, with hillside views of the town and the surrounding mountains (including 7,500-foot Mt. Ashland) that create the Rogue Valley.
Park-like setting
Our grounds include the four-acre Madeline Hill Park, with an arboretum, a pond with a fountain, walking paths, and the Kitchen Creek Community Garden. Kitchen Creek runs through the property on its way to nearby Bear Creek, a tributary of the Rogue River.
Outdoor features
Near our Community Garden, we maintain an actively used bocce court and horseshoe pit. We are particularly proud of the beautiful gazebo overlooking the pond, designed and built in our woodworking shop by residents, and a pleasant place for group picnics or personal relaxation.
Professional landscaping
Our professionally maintained landscaping provides a beautiful, natural setting for our residents and visitors. We are a registered FireWise Community and have significantly reduced our water use with plantings of drought-resistant plants. We have begun a Kitchen Creek restoration project to replace invasive blackberries with native plants, encouraging more wildlife including salmon and steelhead trout.
Maintenance Services
Residents are provided with a number of exterior maintenance services, including street-facing landscaping and cleaning of gutters and windows. On-site handymen replace air filters and smoke alarm batteries on a scheduled basis and ceiling light bulbs on request with no labor charge. Additional on-site handyman services are available on request at hourly labor rates.
