Our Fitness Center is accessible every day from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is furnished with a variety of up-to-date exercise equipment. There is an indoor spa and a handicapped-accessible heated pool with water-fitness classes and water volleyball. Our full-time fitness supervisor suggests individualized exercise regimes, teaches proper use of the equipment and leads a variety of complimentary exercise classes. (The pool and spa are closed Sundays and holidays when no staff is present.)

Kitchen Creek Community Garden

The Community Garden has centrally irrigated, raised planter boxes and berry rows as well as plots for special plantings such as squash and tomatoes and cut flowers. Additionally, we have shared areas for composting, attracting pollinators or growing flowers for use in the Meadowlark Dining Room and for gardeners to cut and take home.

Woodshop

Our well-equipped Woodshop allows residents to work on their own projects. In the past the woodworking group has joined together on projects such as the gazebo by the pond in Madeline Hill Park, shelving for our library and making wooden toys for tots. Our tools and workspace equal those of many professional shops.
